REC CHEER
Cheer America will be using The ONE Scoring for Rec Divisions. This is the 2024-2025 United Scoring System, with the Quantity Grids and Requirement Adjustments from the 2023-2024 season for building. This decision was made to create a competitive opportunity for all teams. Recreation Cheer will also follow Level Appropriate & Safety Rules. REC CHEER DIVISIONS & RULES
- Cheer America offers three different types of Rec Cheer routines:
- Traditional Rec, Performance Rec, and Game Day Rec.
- Recreation Cheer will follow Level Appropriate Rules

TRADITIONAL REC
The program must have an affiliation with or be governed by an organization such as Pop Warner, City Parks and Recreation Dept., YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs or other programs that are community based and not affiliated with All Star cheer. Team(s) must cheer for a sport during the current cheer season.
PERFORMANCE REC
The program may OR may not be community based and is not required to cheer for a sports program.
GAME DAY REC
The program must have an affiliation with or be governed by an organization such as Pop Warner, City Parks and Recreation Dept., YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs or other programs that are community based and not affiliated with All Star cheer. Team(s) must cheer for a sport during the current cheer season.
